Course Review and Comments

Like I mentioned due to the northern climate it takes a bit of time to get in good shape. Usually by mid July the course is in very good shape. From the front and back tees it will challenge most golfers.
Out of the two courses in Cold Lake the most interesting/pretty nine would be the back nine on the Air Base.
The fellows that serve their country deserve to have this good run in my opinion.
If only we could do something about the short golf season.

Course Design Rating
Course Design Comments The front nine is pretty straight forward and a few of the greens are pretty small. The back nine is far more interesting dog legs that are not overly lengthy force you to manage off the tee or risk running through the fairway into the trees. Even from the trees most times you are able to play out to the fairway without to much difficulty.
Course Greens/Fairways Condition Rating
Course Greens/Fairways Condition Comments This early in the season for a course in Northern Alberta, it is in average shape. I have played later in year last season and the course was in fantastic shape.
