As a Palm Coast resident, I was apprehensive about playing the redone course, since I have heard it has been crowded since it opened. Well, what a pleasant surprise I had today. We arrived early to hit a bucket and everything was top notch. No bad attitudes and snooty employees. Just smiling faces and "hi how are you". We paid our fee, grabbed a few tokens and went to the driving range. The balls were new Pinnacles and the range was well marked and in good shape. The yard markers were right in front of you with a CLOCK, so you knew when you where getting close to your tee time. The course was in great shape, even though Tom the course manager apologized for the condition due to the weather. He said it will be better in the spring. OK, I can deal with that, course was awesome. Doug the starter was a riot. Kept us laughing. Anyway, enough rambling, check it out, you wont be disappointed. Its well marked, the greens are real fast, the hanging moss is just magnificent, and the food and service at the clubhouse were terrific. Looking forward to going back, next week.
