Course Review and Comments
Beautiful but pricey. Got in late at 1100 because of looking at the beautiful venues down the coast high from Astoria to Bandon. Awesome, but got in late think the room was $175 and got up early for a 0700 tee time tired, jet lagged, would love to do it with a group and have more time. Had it all, cold, wind, rain, sun, hot, trickery. (now I practice 100yd puts uphill). Had a shot that was about 100 yds uphill and could just see the top of the flag. I grabbed a sandwedge cause I think I'm a fair chipper at times and the caddy said I should put it. I chipped and it was a great chip and should have been right on the flag and smiling reached the top and found my ball 40 yds over the green, guess i should have listened to the caddy. My next great experience was looking out at the Pacific Ocean (Hense Pacific Dunes) and 135 yd par three dead into the wind and no one could hit the green. So I hit 4 iron hybird out over the cliff into the wind and let it take it back and landed onto the green for my 1st par of the day. Didn't have many more...need to repeat the trip with more time. Was headed for Lake Tahoe (another story). Hope to get back!

I've played the course four times now in the last two years, and I'm not sure if I'll ever get sick of it. I'm also not sure if I'll ever figure it out. Big numbers can jump up and bite you here if yo

I played all 3 courses on consecutive days and although very expensive I enjoyed myself. These are the only courses I've played in the US that have the same design/feel as the links courses in Ireland

It was cold, windy and rainy but we had a great time and the course conditions were wonderful. Never any standing water and it played firm and fast.
The best practice facility I've ever seen.
