Course Review and Comments

It took 5 hours and 20 minutes to get through 18 holes. After the round I went in the pro shop and asked about it and he just said we know, it's a problem. They do NOT marshall the course and let people take whatever amount of time it takes to get through their round. You can fly to LA from MD faster than playing golf at PB Dye. Bill Casper Group is the management company. IF this is their philosophy avoid their other courses. Terrible conditions, pace of play was ridiculous, and they just don't seem to care. Play any of the Montgomery County munis and you will find better conditions and better pace of play. Billy Casper Golf should be embarrassed to have their name tagged to this dog track.

Course Greens/Fairways Condition Comments Terrible conditions. Rough is 8-10 inches deep with old cut grass clumped up everywhere. Greens are slow and have aeration marks (still!)
Course Service Rating
Course Service Comments Called in to pro shop after taking 25 minutes to play the 7th hole. Called again after 20 minutes to play 10th hole. Marshalls were out filling in divots and sitting in the shade.
