Course Review and Comments
I'm shy about rating Ottenstein because it is a somewhat hidden gem and those of us who love to play there (and did I mention the restaurant was rated the best in Austria in 2011), would like it not to be completely overrun. From the Reception to the 19th hole, this is a 1st class facility - including the course. Interesting up and down hilly layout that intersects in several places with the creek that meanders through it, you had better bring your A game if you intend to score really well. The 18 holes will challenge every part of you game, from driver to putter. This is a course where you must think yourself around the entire layout. Placement is everything, "long drivers" will generally find themselves experiencing a long day.
