Course Review and Comments
Okay, so Pete Dye is a genius. I'll grant him that, but he's not a genius at designing courses that enable one to play golf, if by golf we mean a game in which one can try to recover from errant shots. With this course, you either land in the fairway or you are in a federally protected marsh that doesn't allow you even to look for your ball. This is "target golf" at its worst.This is not really golf. This is "death by driver" which allows no recoveries, no drama, and no reason to play this course.
Anyone who really likes golf would not be a member here.
