Course Review and Comments

Every person is entitled to their own opinion. I really enjoyed both of the courses that Old American Golf Club had to offer. The Tribute course was pretty spot on as far as the authenticity of Scottish links courses go. All in all it was just a fun course with wide open fairways and in great condition. The Old American course is a bit more of a players course. I see a lot of the classic American course designs put into this course, and I can see how someone who has a hard time controlling their ball might not like it, but I think it's a great course with many reasonable challenges. It's scenic, and kept in pretty good condition. It may play tough, especially in the wind, but playing on that course design is very fun in my opinion. I didn't play so hot, but I can tell you after I was finished I really appreciated playing that course. I would recommend that if you're in the Dallas area you go check it out.
