Course Review and Comments

Great new track. Should only get better with age. From the back there are some intresting shot choices. Par 3's are very tough. #2 is a great par 3 as is 17. My only negitive would be 18. Not sure it is a good par 5. I would have like to see the tee moved up 20 -30 yards and the greem pulled back 20-30 yards. This would have created a fantastic par 4 finising hole with lots of risk/reward. It is ok to have a solid par 71 these days. That said I will go back many times to this hidden gem. My only fear is that it gets too busy and my 3 hour round goes to 5 hours.

Best of luck to the Oak Bay team!
