Course Review and Comments

This place is bizzaro golf.

We tried to play the Eighteen Hole Course at Eastland, but were denied. Why, you ask? Because there were 5 of us and they do not permit twosomes or single palyers. It was a cool, soggy Saturday morning with the parking lot only 1/3 filled. When we politely pointed out that they weren't very busy they replied if they let us play a twosome other members would notice. :-(

They took our money ($25) and sent us across the street to the Nine Hole Course for eighteen holes of mediocre golf.

We were the only golfers there, in fact the starter's building wasn't even occupied, so we decided to play a fivesome (shame on us). On the fourth hole we saw the first human being on the course besides us and it was a maintenance worker. By the 5th green he caught back up with us and said he was sent out to tell us that we were not allowed to play a fivesome. Fine!

Our second warning occurred a few holes later, when the same worker caught up to us to say that we were dirty birds again, because we were driving in the rough. We were supposed to be driving in the fairways! Never heard that one before.

Never again!.
