Course Review and Comments
We own a timeshare here and play the course almost daily when here 2 weeks/yr. Good, challenging course, with lots of sand (Niclaus) and fair amount of water. Greens are really tricky, multi-level with lots of twists. Caddies are superb, and without them I'd misread the greens at least 50% of the time. Wind usually comes up in the afternoon, making morning more desirable, though early morning the course is wet (March-April). In summer rainy season (July - Sept), course can be a swamp, often with play cancelled until afternoon when the course can dry out. Good course, made better by the great experience with the local caddies, who are mostly scratch (or better) golfers. You'll rarely get better lessons from a teaching pro.

This course is fair. What you see is what you get. It does not have a hilly terrain to build on; the feel is open, yet sand traps and water play into the risk-reward thought process in shot selectio
