Course Review and Comments
I was trying to play Sand Hill, but couldn't play it (private), so head back to Mullen when a gas station attendant tells me about "their" course. Okm it's not much, but the history and how it operates is worth playing it. Built in 1930's it is 100% volunteer managed coruse by the 375 residents of Mullen. Each resident takes a day "running" the course. Back in the 90's they wre real proud that they got rid of thir sand greens and had "real" grss greens. It was a trip playing it. Yes, it's not much of a course, but if you want play history and meet local residents that simply love golf, for the love the game spend an hour playing Mullen.
