Course Review and Comments
Having traveled extensively playing golf, and always stopping to play any 9 holer, Mt. Whitney definitely ranks in my Top 10. The maintenance crew, one man, does an incredible job with some part-time help when needed. The weather, views and peacefulness of the Lone Pine area is unparalleled...period. And when you're done with golf, go fish and get a fresh trout for supper. The staff will cook it for you!

Depending upon the season, the conditions can change dramatically. At this time of year, it's perfect. |

For a three person staff, the service is outstanding. The kitchen and bar folks are truly friendly and very, very helpful. |

For such a small town, this little 9 holer will eat you alive if you don't place your ball well from the tee. The greens can be lightning fast (8-10) during the best part of their season. The undulations can kill ya'!
Driving range is pretty much irons only but the tee area is super. The practise putting green is superior. The overall atmosphere is very relaxing. |
