Course Review and Comments
I was directed to the course reviews as they are the talk of the place just now. Agree in some way with every comment posted and interesting to see how visitors view the club.
As far as I can see everyone has agreed that the course is great (apart from no par 5) I would agree with everyone this is a great course and can be testing.
The condition and design of the course is magic and cannot be faulted.
Now the design of the new clubhouse on the other hand can. The one urinal is correct and I can see why people think that as that is the toilets in the actual changing facility and I think that is what the visitor was referring. Never seen people pee in the showers possibly as I am a member and know there are other toilets just outside the changing rooms although these are the lounge area toilets, I can see why people would not access them until they were changed.
Price is very expensive for the facilities but as Robert said we know why albeit do not fully understand why given the money raised through access and sell off of old club and the fact the price does not include a locker, practice area etc.
For me the price is not a major issue but can see why in this economical climate it is for some. We do need to get rid of this we are too good attitude or all of a sudden with one bad growing season we could be in a similar position to a club not so far away so crowing about how we are great is not good, listening to what people have to say matters and can help us grow as a club.
Staff etc are for me very welcoming but as I say I am a member.
Finally I think everyone’s views should be taken on board and as a club use comments as constructive rather than attack people who dare point out some small negatives.
We know the price, lack of practice area, not enough lockers per member and new clubhouse are not ideal it is what we do going forward that will keep us ahead of the game.
Being flexible and adapting in our approach in this economic climate will help attract and sustain people.

I felt the course was tightly packed especially around the 14th green or 12th tee or 15th tee. Trying to take a piss there was almost impossible!

I think all the reviews thus far have been far too polite. This is a short course and not challenging. It is looking well and so it should for the inflated price.

I would question anyone who is critical of this good test of golf. No par 5's? - Big deal, there are plenty of challenging holes and all greens are well protected by bunkers. A good water hazard fea

The individuals who have previously rated the course are way of the mark. Although the course is short it has small tight well manicured greens and fairways. The clubhouse is ideal for the majority of

I am a member who pays £630 a year for as the previous reviewers rightly point out poor facilities that are priced at the high end of the market.
For this price i don't even get a locker.

No Practice facilities and very over priced for the facilities. One guy did not wait on urinal and urinated in the shower due to size of facilites.
Decorum and hospitality for a golf club very poor

The clubhouse was new and as I was considering joining also judged the course on the inflated membership fee. At £630 only Drumpellier is more expensive in the region. I expected great things with th
