Course Review and Comments

I would question anyone who is critical of this good test of golf. No par 5's? - Big deal, there are plenty of challenging holes and all greens are well protected by bunkers. A good water hazard features on several holes on the back nine including the fabulous 11th, stunning views of the surrounding countryside including the Campsie Fell's can be enjoyed from the elevated positions of the 10th and 17th tees with Earl's Seat and Meikle Bin visible as you face North. I agree that practice facilities are important and we lack them however the modern clubhouse can not be faulted and i must add that we have toilet facilities with four urinals not one, the chap who commented on this must have used the small toilet inside the locker room which is actually the showering facilities as opposed to the main w/c facilities which are through one door from the showers. The welcoming atmosphere at the club is why we have a strong membership and the committee contain individuals who care deeply about the golf club, running it effectively which is why we are outperforming all rival clubs in the vicinity with regards to course condition, finance and membership attrition.
