Course Review and Comments

This is one of the top designs and the best draining course in Northern California! For mid-winter, the conditions were superb. Pace of play was very good. Layout is outstanding and presents a strong challenge to all levels of play. Aiming on each hole is pretty obvious, but it might take playing a few times to truly understand where the best approach locations might be. Greens putt true, but are very challenging; most have definite landing locations, as you would expect from a world class course.

Course Design Rating
Course Design Comments A very challenging heartland links course, which is very unique to Northern California. The bunkers off the tee are generally not much of a problem, but very penal if you get into them. Around the greens, there are not very many, but avoid the ones that are there at all costs. The grass around the topside of all bunkers is very long and deadly.
