Course Review and Comments

Too bad...even as a practice course, this club is losing a battle. I was actually surprised it re-opened this year. The course definitely presents challenges (particularly tee shots over water). But the greens, which used to be well-maintained, are now no better than Astro-turf. Some of the tee boxes are ridiculous (#4). BUT, if you want to try out some new clubs or just hack around, its reasonable rates make it occasionally worthwhile. But if you want a true test of golf skills, go elsewhere.

Course Design Rating
Course Design Comments Many holes feature a drive over a creek in the 180-200 yard range. Be prepared to get a lot of balls wet.
Course Greens/Fairways Condition Rating
Course Greens/Fairways Condition Comments Maintenance has reached a new low. Traps are overgrown, greens are poorly maintained, tee boxes as well. Only the fairways lead to a "normal" game.
Course Service Rating
Course Service Comments What service? There is none. Even the bathrooms have been closed!
Course Facilities Rating
Course Facilities Comments The "clubhouse" is strictly a facility to collect fees, nothing more. The practice range is bare-bones.
