Course Review and Comments
This is an excellent course for beginners (such as myself). The short course length with somewhat narrow fairways emphasizes control but there are still several holes that allow an experienced player to pull out the driver. You don't have to worry about trying to blast one (or two) because you have to go 450 to the green. Instead, you can focus on club selection and making a proper shot. I know that once I am routinely hitting down the middle of the fairways and scoring par on the course THEN I will be ready for 18 holes at 6000 yards without losing a bucket of balls and just getting frustrated. The staff is very nice. They have made an effort at improving the condition of the course and it has paid off. There aren't a lot of hazards, just enough to make you pay attention. Also, I usually am playing on the spur of the moment rather than planning it and I have always been able to walk-in.
