Course Review and Comments
This is one of Colombia's magnificent private clubs that has opened its doors to visitors from overseas. The course is quite long and not without its challenges. However it can also be forgiving. I am far from being an expert, but I only lost one ball in the nine holes I was able to play. I was fortunate to be accopanied by the club's very able Professional - Albiero - who helped me to stay out of trouble. The club's other facilities are first rate, and provide something for the whole family - tennis, weight/training, pool, massagen and much more. This region has an abundance of beautiful bird live. We had a visit from an eagle during our game. An international airport is being built about five miles from the Manizales course, and is scheduled to open around 2015.
