I would enthusiastically recommend this experience to anyone who is hardy, loves golf and is a purist of the game. I love everything about it, as did my wife and our two friends. I can't understand th

The Dunes is hilarilously brilliant. If you want to play a perfectly manicured parkland layout where the course is played through the air to drop and stop on the greens - don't bother with the Dunes.

Machrihanish Dunes is neither a walk in the park nor a good walk spoiled. It is not to be missed by fans of links golf but requires a links mentality -- you are not going to score well on your first

Previous reviewers surely miss the point? Harking back to the halcyon days, this is a REAL golf course. If you have wondered at the natural challenge of Brora, the moonscape of Cruden Bay or the sheer

This is not a course for pansies. If you don't consider walking a part of golf, stay away. If you don't consider nature a part of golf, stay away. If you can't stand the thought of getting an unluc

Machrihanish Dunes is fantastic. I think the natural terrain and the concerns for the environment have created a superb layout that the true fan of links golf will find unique, challenging and memora
