Course Review and Comments

Live Oak is unique in that there are no sand traps due to the water table being so low they would fill up from the bottom. However this does not make the course easy by any means. The front nine is fairly open with some water, so laying up may be an option depending on which tees you are playing. The back nine is very tight with dog legs and lots of woods...you will have the oppertunity to use all your clubs on this course. The folks there are outstanding and the snack bar turns out good food at a reasonable price. My group is from Astor, Fl. and we play twice a week, Live Oaks is a 30 mile drive for us and we play it once a week.
