Course Review and Comments
Held a church tournament at Eagle's Nest at Lake Guntersville on May 7-8th, 2012. The Bermuda greens were a bit slow but very good shape. Fairways were in excellent condition. The tornadoes of 2011 took out over 2000 trees, but it doesn't affect the quality of the fairways and greens. It is certainly easier to play an errant shot. The view from No. 13 is spectacular now that the trees are gone. The course is long with many going uphill for the second or third shots. No water in play. The lodge and rooms are fantastic- awesome views. Food at lodge was superb. This is a great place to bring a group. Understaffed but adequate. Nice folks. Worth the trip!

A pristine location, high in the mountainous pines, overlooking the gorgeous Tennessee River valley, makes this course quite special. Please go there.
