Course Review and Comments
Due to the course being private and the community with minimal homes, the course was not crowed at all. Range facility was nice with ample room to hit driver. Wind defnitely a factor playing this course. Fairways were generous for the most part with the seashore paspalum providing great lies. I liked the areas of the rough that was planted in a different grass that made going into it penal. Definitely need to know green contours to put the ball in the right place. Green speed was about 9.5....speeds 10 and higher would definitely make placing the ball in the right place on the green critical. At 7021 yards from the back tees, normal winds would make it play to 7100+ yards. Under mild wind conditions, course would be taken advantaged of. Would love to play it under Kona (south) wind conditons to see how it plays versus the normal north-east winds. Overall I would consider this course definitely best on Kauai and one of the best in Hawaii, easily competing with the privates on the Kona coast.
