Course Review and Comments

I'm not ashamed to say that some of the tee shots are scary!
Right from the opening par 5 you know that this golf course is something special!
I relied on the trusty rental 3 metal wood most of the time.
All of the fairways are narrow & lined with dense jungle, with no secondary rough whatsoever!
There are 11 ravine crossings to negotiate!
The par 3 17th and the par 5 18th are two of the toughest finishing holes I've ever played, with absolutely no room for error!
I dead set thought I was going to run out of golf balls at one stage!
The scenery is spectacular, however my golf game did not quite match it!
I found all of the staff very friendly, I liked the esky filled with ice that was attached to the cart, I added a couple of Budweiser's at the turn!
I just wish I had a playing partner I could of shared my amazing experience of playing golf at Ko'Olau GC.

Price comments The cost included green fees, rental clubs & a drive cart.
A small bucket of range balls was also included which I gladly used!

Course Design Comments Brutal from the back tees!
Course Greens/Fairways Condition Rating
Course Greens/Fairways Condition Comments The greens had been cored, however I was told this prior to booking.
Some fairways were very soggy but I suppose it's to be expected being in the mountainous area of Hawaii.
I was glad that I could play the full 18 holes on a sunny day!
