Course Review and Comments

A picturesque country course set at the end of Lake Wakatipu. Holes are well set out and offer a variety of challenges (uphill, downhill, gullies, straight and dog legs). No bunkers, but there are several well-placed water hazards (holes 1,2,5,6,7 and 8). Be careful of hitting too far past the green, as you will be punished by thick trees or water hazards on most holes. Fairways are in good condition, but greens can be a bit rough. Locals are friendly and it is good to catch up with them in the clubhouse on a Saturday afternoon. Basic golf clubs can be hired at Hector's Camping Ground just as you go into Kingston.
