Course Review and Comments
I only played nine holes in an early December Myrtle Beach trip several years ago. But the staff couldn't have been more accomodating in making sure I got out onto the course to finish off a long day of Myrtle Beach golf.The sixth hole, the MB famous island fairway par 5 that's nicknamed the Gambler and had a sign telling you about when I was there, is a hole you'll leave with a story about.
I haven't played as many Myrtle Beach golf courses as some people who go there all the time, but King North's was definitely one of the best Grand Strand experiences I've had.

| Course Design Comments | Good use of water and sand traps by Palmer's team to make a course without a ton of elevation change interesting. Some Florida course designers would benefit from a visit to get some tips. |
