Course Review and Comments

We have been looking to relocate and since we are golf fanatics had to have a golf home. Was warned and read reviews that Kings Deer was not very good. My son and I played it and were amazed. The tee boxes, fairways, and greens for that time of year were exceptional. Some bunkers were very poorly maintained but thought the layout was fun and challenging. We walked and it is not set up to walk easily. Staff was good to us and range balls and range were in good shape. Nice mix of short and longer holes, bunkering is creative and the views are incredible. Everyone told me Pine Creek was the course to join. Played it in 3:15 for nine holes! Played Kings Deer in 1:25 for nine walking. Not into overplayed, overbooked, public golf. Pine Creek had a great layout and I see the draw but for $1000 for a family at Kings Deer for the season! No brainer! We decided to buy a house there as well!

Course Design Comments For the price a great layout. Playable for rookies. From the back tees with some wind a very good test for the low hcp.
