Course Review and Comments

Have played a number of times and enjoy the challenge it presents, where you can hit a 200 yard drive and 200 yard 7 iron. However, not a course for those who don't do well in the wind. Head over to Wailea for more friendly and less windy resort courses.

Course Design Rating
Course Design Comments Some challenging holes(1, 6, 7, 8, 12, 13, 15) but the wind is the real challenge on this course. The trades really blow here. THis is a well-designed and well-built golf course.
Course Greens/Fairways Condition Rating
Course Greens/Fairways Condition Comments Good condition. Greens nice but a little on the firm side due to wind. Good lies in the fairway all day.
Course Service Rating
Course Service Comments This course is not that busy so they don't have a lot of help and the cart girl lives in a house near the tenth tee.
Course Facilities Rating
Course Facilities Comments Well built course with a large and attractive clubhouse that too big and too nice for the course its on. Lovely views of Haleakala, Wailea, Makena, Molokini. 12th tee great spot for picture-taking but not a great spot to tee off from.
