Course Review and Comments
The most interesting thing about Kaanapali Kai might be the sugar cane tourist train that runs right by the course. This is a mid-level Maui course - nice and much better than it was after a renovation, but you can play much more scenic and better tracks in Hawaii.The service is great though and they have regular specials like nine holes with wine that give it a unique niche. It's also located in the cookie cutter tourist haven of Kaanapali where there is a mall like the mall in your hometown and a ton of worthless trinkets being sold.
I'd rather stay at Kapalua down the road, but if Kaanapali is your type of atmosphere, the course couldn't be more convenient.
