Course Review and Comments

Played the course for free because of a Facebook promotion (just paid $30 for the cart). There was a sign on the first tee suggesting that golfers play the course "one tee forward" because of it's difficulty and I am glad we did. We played it at around 6,000 yards and still found it to be challenging. The course plays much longer than the yardage indicates because it's always windy and the fairways are so narrow (in places it almost seems unfair; and if you miss the fairway, chances are it's lost). But the course was in excellent shape - the greens rolled true and were receptive, and the fairways were very lush. The staff was also very helpful. The back 9 was a more interesting layout than the front, and in places it was reminiscent of Circling Raven (Coeur d'Alene, ID). My favorite hole was #14. Overall, it's not a bad course and would probably pair nicely with the Wilderness Club if you were going to play 36 in a day.
