After a good 20 years of playing this Donald Ross course, I can surely say, that it is well-run (Billy Maxwell-Chris Blocker), continuously up-graded, aerated, and maintained golf course of exceptional mention. Being located in the very heart of Jacksonville, Florida has kept it alive and off of the develepor's roll-call. As Donald Ross designs become extinct, Hyde Park and Timucuana CC will become stantions for golf, and historic landmarks for the concept of golf archetecture for the masses, not just the rich and famous...
