Course Review and Comments
This budget-friendly track just outside of Lexington is a much better value, as well as a better layout, than the muni courses in Lexington (Kearney Hill is of course an exception). A player will find fairly well maintained fairways and greens, some risk-reward opportunites, two very difficult par 4's back to back on four and five, and some quite easily had good scores leading up to the fourth and fifth. After that, golf returns to being fair until the par-3 sixteenth, which should be a simple mid-iron to an elevated green, but will quickly become with repeated play a hole one finds he cannot under any circumstances aim far enough left off the tee to stay out of jail right.
