Course Review and Comments
This is a par 3, however, it is a challenging par 3 with water, trees, srubs, and small greens. I have seen some players who should not play this course because of the water, trees, and srubs. There are other par 3's in Milwaukee that would better suit these people with no water, trees, and srubs that come into play.
The course is older than 1967. It became an 18-hole par 3 then. Prior to 1967 it was a 9-hole course. It was one of the first courses I played a a child in the late 1950's. The original 9 were a bit more challenging then with more trees and srubs coming into play. Hole 8 was a par 4 over 300 yds with the tee along the tree line on the right side. I have not played it lately. I like to use to work on my short game.
