Course Review and Comments
Please find my Course review of GC Sierra De La Ventara as follows.
You don`t have to expect a Jack Nicklaus design, but as a typical Country Park Land course, it is a challenge. It is a pleasure to play a round or 2.
In the beginning it looks easy, but this is the first mistake you may assume. As already mentioned, it is a Park Land Course, every fairway is surrounded by old trees.
Your shot has to be precise.
As soon as you are not straight, you will follow the golfers bad dream --once in the wood, always in the wood -- and your score tells the true.
All 18 greens are well maintanance. Fairways are somewhere too dry, but this helps to longer drives. There are some lovely 3 Par.
You may think they are easy (as well rated easy), but be happy to score a bogey!
Summary: I recommend this course to every golfer, who likes Park Land Courses.
The layout is very variable, and require for course management, to score under 90!
Have fun.
