They had a marshall that was playing in front of us and he was screaming and yelling at us to keep to the car path. However, we were not near the green or the tees. He harassed us several times in the presence of his three buddies. When I complained that I was not the marshal's child, and if he had something to say to us he should have come to the area where we were and not stand screaming and publicly humiliating us. There were other golfers parking under trees and he said nothing. The clerk gave excuses. However, I am a Black female and my husband is White. We believe our color had everything to do with it. We have played there several times without any problems, however, we will not return as the employees have no social skills and are prejudice. Racism is alive and well in Hempstead!
