Course Review and Comments

The Jones' layout from the White Tees was not difficult but it is a picturesque layout. The use of coral rock as abuttments to greens with water fronting them is challenging. Little room for error in front. Fairway bunkering for bigger hitters (white tees) isn't a concern; hit over them. The shots from the fairways to greens are challenging, particularly No. 17. The double green for No. 9 & No. 18 reminded me of Weston Golf and CC, although not as complex. The price tag did not match the pleasure. Playing this course for $90 might make it palatable ($75 and I'd probably return) but if convention groups will pay it - so be it. I'd like to try it from the Blue Tees.
