Course Review and Comments
I've been playing golf for almost 30 yrs and I've had the opportunity to play some very nice courses around the world. I can honestly say that none come close to the experience of Farmlinks!
I live about an hour away, close to Birmingham, and I had heard all about this place for years. I didn't think it would live up to the expectations I had in my mind after hearing all the stories about it. Man, was I wrong! Farmlinks does everything right! The staff is top notch, the food is outstanding, and the course.....the best you'll find!
About the course:
The layout is really well done. It's pretty wide open, which will be inviting to the average or below golfer. If you're a low handicapper, play it from the tips to make it more challenging. The yardage approaches 7500 from the back tees. As for the fairways...let's just say that I've been to Augusta National, and this is as close to replicating it that I've seen. It looks like miles of green carpet! And the overall splendor of the course is breathtaking. Take the time to enjoy your surroundings while you're here. I love to play the game of golf, but as I get older, I'm learning to appreciate the course and the beauty of nature around the course as well. Make sure you have plenty of memory on your camera for lots of pics!
If you live within driving distance, make it a point to spend the day at Farmlinks. You'll come back! If you're planning a trip to Alabama to play, you're probably hitting the RTJ trail. You'll be cheating yourself if you don't include Farmlinks in your trip! It will be the jewel of all the courses you play that week, trust me. Go out and enjoy a place that gets it right!

Our group will definitely be returning here in the near future. We are going to rent one of the golf cottages so we can play it twice next time we come.

The course is in beautiful condition, nice practice area, it has length and there are two great par 3's. However, it also has 60 yard wide fairways, huge greens, and no rough, so none of the hazards

An absolute treat to play, a stunning setting, conditioning top shelf, and first class service, and worth the drive down from Birmingham, glad I found it on Forelinksters' guide

This is the BEST public access course in Alabama. I have a group from all over come to visit once a year and this is the only course everyone says "must do". The view in the fall is spectacu

Probably the best manicured golf course that I've ever played. It's like Augusta National in Alabama. The view from #5 is breathtaking and would make me come just for that. Our lunch was great and
