Course Review and Comments
Entrada at Snow Canyon is a wonderful golf course. When it first came on the scene it was a full public golf course, but over the years, and with the premium level residential developments it finally turned into a private club with very limited public play. Only folks who stay at the affiliated resort get to play, or member guests. The golf course is one of the most unique tracks in the continental United States. The residential impact is only seen on a very few holes and doesn't detract from the golfing experience to any major degree. The "hidden" attractions of the golf course come on the back side where the routing enters a huge black lava field for 5 holes. These holes have a great impact on the slope rating of this course, and may even take it out of play for high handicappers, ladies, or seniors. Having said that I want to make it clear that "Entrada" is a fabulous golf course, with many elevation changes, tricky greens, and incredible views up to the west and north to Snow Canyon State Park and to the red rim cliffs to the east. To be a golfer who is in the area, a failure to try and get on this golf course, (use any ruse you can), would be a shame. Hopefully with the shape of the economy the course might open itself up to limited public play. In my estimation, "Entrada" is one of the two best golf courses in the St. George area..

Beautiful course with accuracy a must especially on the back nine. Traveled from Illinois to play in the St. George area and got great value especially when compared to Mesquite and LV, Nev.
