Course Review and Comments
Elmore is a winter course, open from Easter to the end of September. In normal seasonal conditions, the fairways are very well grassed and well maintained. The large and varied sand scrape greens are shaped along normal grass green topography, with challenging undulations. No postage stamp, square little greens here. These scrapes are perfect for a pitch and run approach. course layout is really challenging and quite long. Lots of well placed trees keep you guessing.
Local members are a friendly group and welcoming. They are happy to have visitors join their weekend comps and midweek chicken run on Wednesdays.
Don't confuse Elmore with other scrubby sand scrape courses, it is very different and very enjoyable.
