Course Review and Comments
Set in rugged terrain, the course sits on what would appear to be waste-land, with the excellent clubhouse and practice facilities sitting above.
This was a different kind of test, with the course being surprising dry for the time of year, and plenty of waste areas if you strayed off the fairways - with club-damaging stones in ready supply.
To say the greens were fast would be an understatement - more "lightning quick" but despite all of the above we had a couple of enjoyable rounds.
The main highlight was the sausage or bacon rolls at the halfway-hut which you can stop at after either the 7th or 9th holes, and the friendly valet service we received when we arrived at the course - and even the welcome wave/salute from the old boy in the security hut.
A nice friendly course, not too busy and certainly one I will be returning to in the not too distant future.
