Course Review and Comments
We enjoyed playing this course last year which is why it was booked again for this year, however, what a difference. I have played on municipal courses which look like Augusta compared to this wasteland.I have never played on a course in such poor condition, I would not recommend this course to anyone unless they like playing on building sites.

| Course Greens/Fairways Condition Comments | The course is in absolutely shocking condition for a 'premier' golf venue. We were told the greens had been spiked, however, we were not informed that the greens had more sand on them than the bunkers! Even without the sand the numerous bald areas on each green were obvious. The fairways and bunkers were also in very poor condition. Stones, compacted sand and weeds in the bunkers and large bald patches on the fairways. The course is obviously in need of serious remedial work and there were many ground staff on the course. In fact, we had to play around them! They were working in the bunkers, on the fairways and on the greens. They did not move to allow us to play shots and continued to use mowers, machines, hoses, etc. whilst we were in play - one of them even dragged a ball off the green with the hose he was using to water! |
