Course Review and Comments
Took a foursome down the weekend of May 15th, 2009. Despite rain and the threat of storms, we had a great outing. The course dries out really well, and the starter keeps things moving even with high volume. Stay away from the "All inclusive" packages. The food at the restaurant is low cost and it would be difficult to get the value from the extra meal money. The Beaumont Inn and its attached Old Owl Tavern are just up the road in Harrodsburg and the food there is unbelievable. We got to the resort late in the afternoon on Friday. Walked 9, ate out, then came back for the lit par 3. Played 36 on Satuday from both the white and blue tees then 18 on Sunday. On many of the holes, the course length increases by 50 yards or more by playing the blues and with long lakes on several holes, this makes the course much more challenging. Many of the holes have the water hidden from the tees, so watch out. The staff showed the southern hospitality that you would expect. I rated this resort a great value based on the $245 price tag alone. The rooms are dated, but wireless internet is available and they are clean, and you really are only crashing there anyway. If your group wants oat sodas for the your round, hit one of the liquor stores at the county line on the way to the course. This is a "moist" county meaning liquor licensing for restaurants only. My group left on Sunday feeling great about the trip. There are a couple of negative reviews out on the web, but we had a great experience.

Stayed here for a three day weekend on the "all inclusive package". Everyone was extremely disappointed with the course maintenance and staff of the resort. All tee boxes remained backed up
