Course Review and Comments
Well conditioned course, but this type of "modern" course is becoming tediously common. Rolling fairways, concrete greens and "run-offs" around the greens are supposed to be the "in-thing", but they are just a pain in the neck for most golfers. Pretty surroundings, and good condition (obviously well-cared for course) do not make up for poor design of a type found everywhere as "modern" course design. Shrigley Hall, Tytherington, and many other courses are virtually identical, and as far as I am concerned, they can keep them. Just as well this was cheap---once is enough. Never again.
