Course Review and Comments

Don't believe the hype. Yes, it's a golf course near Cairo and also vaguely near the Giza pyramids, but not close as you see in the marketing speil (about 25 minutes away). And you can just make out the two large pyramids when standing at the top of the mound behind the 4th green. Just. It's about the only place on the course you can see them through the ever present thick Cairo smog. The course is a nice green oasis and respite from crazy Cairo, but it's a resort course. Pretty wide fairways and not much trouble if you stray.
I played off the tips (black tees) and shot 2 under my 15 handicap so it's not a difficult course.

Date course was played Thursday 30th of December 2010
Price paid for golf 180
Price comments I'm sure I only paid about half of what I was expecting the green fee to be.
