Get on while you can. In 2013 this place is finally going fully private. Awesome addition to any Pinehurst-area trip you may make in the coming months.Ratings

| Price comments | Paid $70 (reduced from rack rate of $115 due to temp green on #9) plus $70 for caddie. Great, great experience for the price. |

| Course Design Comments | Walk this course. Great C&C design. Tough but fair, few forced carries but many different ways available to play each hole. Lots of waste areas if you find them but very hard to lose a ball. Pick the right set of tees and add 200+ yds to manage the elevation changes you'll encounter. Tough stretch of holes on 10-11-12-13. Great course overall. Very enjoyable. |

| Course Greens/Fairways Condition Comments | Temp green on #9 the day we played and a few other questionable ones on #15 and #16 maybe? It's been a hot summer, followed by recent heavy rainfall which can wreak havoc. In the fall, this course should shape up very nicely. A few more well-defined walking areas cutting through the protected areas from the teeboxes would help; watch your step |

| Course Facilities Comments | No frills, for now, just how I like it. All golf. Understated old hunting lodge for the clubhouse. Relaxed atmosphere and a couple opptys to stop at the halfway house (7,10,14) with out & back routings. |
