Course Review and Comments
I see a few negative comments from others on this page, but for a course in the Tucson area that costs less than $25. Well, stop grumbling if it isn't up to your standards. Go play elsewhere for 3 or 4 times that amount.
One of the questions asked if I would play the course again: My wife and I spend 3 or 4 weeks in Tucson every March. This is a course that sees a lot of play from us. It's affordable, and within her golfing abilities. We never have a hard time getting a tee-time around 8 a.m. and we don't feel pressured to hurry through our round. We pretty-much play at an enjoyable pace for a couple in their early 70's. So yes, I’d play it again and do so yearly. Expect me to be there again in March.

Dorado is a neat little track. It's very short, but the holes are the same size as those other courses and you're likely to expend the same amount of effort trying to score. The upside, however, is

THE COURSE DESIGN IS FINE. MAINTENANCE IS SEVERELY LACKING
1. SAND TRAPS ARE ACTUALLY EITHER CONCRET BUMKERS OR MUD PONDS.
2. GREENS ARE NOT MOWED EVERY DAY. DIRTY AND FUZZY THE DAYS THEY ARE NOT
