Course Review and Comments
First off, let me say, that this golf course is not the nicest course around. It's at the end of a in-use runway and it cheap. Don't go if you're expecting Augusta National or Pebble Beach. If you love to play golf but don't have hundreds of dollars to spend on one outing, this is a good place to go. If you aren't very good but still love to get out and hit the ball, this is the place for you. The staff is nice. Usually a couple of older guys who are retired and sit around just shooting the breeze with one another. Took my daughter with me this last time and she loved it. The guy behind the counter was very patient with her while she was picking out a drink. They are just a bunch of good ole boys. The course is wide open. The fairways are hard and the sand ain't pretty. The greens are challenging and the tee boxes could use some work. I have played here many times and plan to go this afternoon after work. Again, if you're expecting the best of the best, then go somewhere else.
