Course Review and Comments
This course will give you fits if you drive it into their wild prairie grass located in the rough separating fairways. But if you can find the ample fairways you will be shooting at large undulating greens guarded pretty well by well maintained bunkers.
Front nine is wide open windy and can play easier than the back nine so score here when you can. Going out to back nine there is a devilish par three that features a ball swallowing pond in front. After which you enter 5 holes located in ball magnet forests. Good shot making and course management is key as well as a lot of luck. Coming out of the woods you get a tricky par 3. Then a crack at eagle on a par 5 and watch out for "tin cup" possibilities on the par 4 18th guarded by a big pond. I carded an 11 on this hole destroying a "4 over after 17"- round once several years ago.
