Course Review and Comments
I would suggest making the drive to Wild Bluff, or Blind River, The Rock, or even Black Lake for that matter. With so many nice courses in the area priced cheaper and in amazing condition and with better lay outs I would tell them to go there. No one wants to pay full price and then play on a course in terrible condition, or even one even if it was in great condition that it would be difficult to score on with such bizzare greens. If you are not into golf and want to see some beautiful views then this could be the course for you, however with so many great hiking trails in the area you might be better off to go and do that instead.

The course is surrounded by beautiful settings, however, at least 4-5 holes are terrible designs (#2 especially, nowhere to land your drive or lay up!). The golf course architect must have been into minature golf as the greens are unlike any i have ever played(except for mini golf); huge contours and multi leveled, many almost un-puttable. |

I would expect better when paying premium prices. Many greens very bummpy with lost grass in several places. Fairways same. The fairways and rough are playable however, many greens we had to consider automatic 2 puts they were so bad. Again I'd be fine with it if i was playing a mediocre priced course, and didn't excpect much. |

O.K. It's nice when there are starters and a marshall to keep pace of play going. However, the people at the front desk just don't seem interested. |

club house and pro shop are great! The practice facility is basically a dried out field with the flags very poorly marked as they don't change the yardages when the move the ropes. some 'newer' range balls some that should have been scrapped a few years ago. |

Played this course in the fall and was absolutely gorgeous layout and surroundings. All concrete cart paths and service that was second to none. Have been waiting for years to get back to Sault Ste.
