Course Review and Comments
Crag Burn is undoubtedly the most challenging, yet fair golf courses I have played in quite sometime. I am actually surprised more people do not know about it or why it doesnt get more recognition. The only reason I can think of is because the members dont want the attention. It is a place for real golfers. Everyone I saw seemed to be a great player and everyone was friendly. Beautiful layout. First 7 holes are more traditional American holes, but 8 through 18 provide a gorgeous Scottish-type links layout that is truely fun and challenging. I had zero complaints leaving the course, other than the many golf balls I surrendered to their heather. I highly recommend this course to all golfers, and if the USGA stumbles upon this hidden gem I wouldnt be surprised if they had some big event there (if members were keen on the idea), it really is that high quality.
