Course Review and Comments
Member -- I have enjoyed CCC for many years. Much work has been done in the past several years to dramatically improve practice areas, fairways, golf course layout, greens, and bunkers. This is a tight but short par 71 layout that is hilly and has very few truly flat lies -- shotmakers need apply. If you are a big bomber that is not straight you will likely not do well on this course as their is OB on several holes, dogles and lots and lots of big trees (this is the northwest after all). Clubhouse, pro shop, locker rooms, pool are nice but nothing special. Service help in the pro shop and restaurant is spotty but pleasant, management does a good job with who they have to work with.
For anyone making it to Corvallis for a Pac 10 away game I would recommend this course very much. It is vastly different than most Cal or AZ courses and would provide a very nice outing day prior to a ball game.
